Goli fits the shape of my heart and mind so well. They claim that they’re actually going to be working on a new album now that they’re out of grad school…

Might have some video coming soon as well!

Friend, bandmate, and violinist extraordinaire Ripley is in the throes of creating an electroswing “immersive theater, dance, burlesque and circus spectacle” called The Penny Jive, and had their workshop performance earlier this week. Check out some photos below, and support their kickstarter campaign if you can.

SchoolTree released their new album, Rise, at the Lizard Lounge (on the Ides of March!) with support from Count Zero and a small troupe of variety & burlesque acts. An exquisite night! Just a few lazy snapshots from my seat, I was mostly just enjoying the show:

Now go buy the album!

A few snapshots from the Speakeasy Dollhouse in NYC, taken at the March 2nd, 2013 performance. I forgot how ‘fun’ shooting in almost no light whatsoever could be…

Amanda Palmer & The Grand Theft Orchestra closed out their tour in Boston on Saturday, November 17th 2012. It was a beautiful show, especially the crowdsurfing during Bottomfeeder.
